In India, 10,000 Children Helped by Newly Launched School Eye Health Program

After being closed for around 3 years due to the pandemic, local schools in Shimla and Himachal Pradesh, India are being reopened. The OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation is partnering with India Vision Institute to provide eye health services to school children in need.

Around 10,000 children studying in government schools will benefit from these vision care services. As myopia is a rising concern, program leaders will also have a special focus on raising awareness and providing solutions for myopia specifically.
