Results of an Environmental Scan to Determine the Level of Uncorrected Refractive Error in First Nations Elementary School Children in Ontario
This study aimed to estimate the relative need for services based on levels of corrected refractive error compared to expected norms, and to determine the level and frequency of vision care services being delivered to First Nations children attending Band-operated elementary schools encompassing JK to Grade 8 in Ontario.
The study provides recommendations for improved vision care services to First Nations elementary schools.
